Inky Inspirational Post

Hey everyone. It is my turn to share an inspiration post on the Inky Impressions Inspirational Blog. This week I made a holiday card with Hazel Baking Cookies. In this case she is making holiday cookies. :o) I do not usually use the same image twice in a row, but this one was already colored and time got away from me this week and here is why.......
School officially started this week. Here are my books for my classes. Boy, this is going to be a BUSY semester. On top of classes and DT work I also work as the secretary for the Student Government Association (SGA), and publish the Medical Office Administration departments newsletter for each semester. Although I will be super busy, I love each of my "jobs". It is an honor to be on my DT's, to be elected as secretary of SGA, and to have people have enough faith in me to publish the newsletter. I also love going to school. It brings me joy when I learn I something new. Ok, well that topic got away from me. lol I will stop rambling and show you my card now. :o)

I used paper from The Robin's Nest and from Recollections. The brads are from Bo Bunny. I adore this ribbon that I used, but unfortunately I am not sure who makes it. This was the last of it and I hate to see it go.

I used Memento ink in Tuxedo Black to stamp my image and Copics to color. I used a sparkle gel pen to go over the hairbows and apron trim to give them sparkle.

Quick tip: when you cut an image out go around the edges with a black marker so it covers any white edges that you may have left.

Don't forget to participate in the Inky Impressions blog hop and new challenge to have a chance at four Inky prizes this week. Also I have blog candy to give away on my blog, so be sure to get your name entered.

I am playing in the following challenges:
Tuesday Throwdown: sweet treats
Crafty Ann's: Christmas in August
Crafty Catz: animals
Totally Papercrafts: inspired by a song (Christmas Cookies by George Strait)

That's it for me today. I hope you have a beautiful weekend! :o)

Thank you so much for stopping by. Until next time...........
