DT - Inky Impressions' Challenge

Good morning. I hope you are all dong fabulous. Has anyone else noticed that they are not receiving feeds for all of the blogs that they follow? I have noticed lately that I am not receiving new feeds yet if I go to the person's blog they have new content that I have not seen. I am wondering if if it just me or others are having the same problem. Maybe I have Blogger overloaded with all of the blogs I follow? lol

Anyway, it is once again time for a new challenge at Inky Impressions. This week's theme is pastel or vintage Christmas/Holiday. I opted for vintage. Brrr!! I have been so cold today. I was looking for some relief once I got to school, but nope I froze inside too. I was shivering listening to my instructor. I came home, put on a pair of sweat pants and house slippers so I am finally starting to warm up. :o)

Good morning! I hope you have enjoyed your weekend. I sure have enjoyed mine. It is back to school for me, tomorrow. Only a few more weeks though and I will be out until January.

Today I have a card that I made for the Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World. I used an adorable stamp (and sentiment) from the A Little Bit Festive collection from Sheena Douglass, which can be purchased at Crafter's Companion.

Here is the Tuesday Trigger photo.

I took inspiration from the colors and doily look that the frames have. The frames are also very girly looking so I wanted my card to have a very feminine look to it. I hope you like it.

I used paper from MME and Recollections, ink from Memento, flowers from Whimsy Stamps, Fancy Flourish die from Die-namics, gems from Inky Impressions, a doily from Wilton, and lace, ribbon, and brad from my stash. I colored with Copics and added extra fine glitter from Recollections for the wings.

Happy to be off today!

Good morning and it really is a good morning. I have the day off from school. Whoop whoop!! I am usually up by 5:45am so it was nice getting to sleep in alittle. :o)

I decided to make a Get Well card. It seems everyone has been sick lately. It has been going around our house and around school. I had it last week. I still do not feel up to par, but better than I did so I will not complain. I am going to enter it in the KennyK challenge this week, which is monochrome. Hmm I wonder if it is monochrome "enough". Some people say you can use neutrals and it still be considered monochrome, and others do not. I am feeling adventurous so I am going for it. lol

I used Hot Doctor from KennyK. I colored her with Copics and gel pens (gold for her necklace and silver glitter for her stethoscope and clipboard top). The paper is a combination from Recollectionsand MME. I cut the sentiment circles from Martha Stewart punches and used a sentiment from PTI. Since the sentiment is so small I thought the area needed more interest so I used Liquid Pearls around the edge of the larger scallop. I also used gems from Recollections, a button from Favorite Findings, and ribbon from my stash. I hope you like my card.

KennyK also has a DT call and giveaway going on so be sure to check those out. I would LOVE to be on the KennyK team, but I start my last semester of school in January and I just cannot commit to 6-months right now for any new teams. I have to stick with guest spots for now.

I am also entering the following challenges:
Incy Wincy - girl power
The Ribbon Girl: add sparkle (gems, silver gel pen, liquid pearls)
Crafty Catz: anything goes
The Pink Elephant: punches or dies

Well, that is all for now. I have some homework I need to get done and I am going to try to get some more crafting done this afternoon. :o)

Have a fabulous day!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Until next time...........

Travel

Happy Saturday! The card I am sharing today is a little different than my normal style. I really like the way it turned out though. I usually rely on embellishments and coloring to give my cards a nice appearance. I am trying to make more simple cards that look nice as well. It is a challenge! lol

The back layer is paper from Recollections. The middle layer is actually a stamp from the Stamp It Australia collection called Wallpaper from Crafter's Companion. It makes great decorative paper. I stamped the image with Memento, Bamboo Leaves ink. The stop layer is also from the Stamp It Australia collection. It is called Eiffel Sketch. I love this image. I stamped it with Memento, Tuxedo Black ink. The ribbon is from MFT and the pearls are from Inky Impressions. The button and floss are from my stash.

I am playing in the following challenges:
