Howdy friends! I hope you are having a wonderful day. Mine has been pretty good so far. Although it was a day out of school I had lots of homework to get caught up on. I did manage to get a CAS card made though. It's not my normal style, but I think it is cute.
The pumpkins are from Bugaboo and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. I used paper from MME, buttons from Favorite Findings, and a boarder punch from Martha Stewart. I used Memento ink in Tuxedo Black to stamp the sentiment and I colored the pumpkins with Copics. The chipboard piece and twine are from my stash.

Yay! I have Magnolia Stamps

Good morning! I am so happy to have the day off of school. Life has been so busy lately. It was nice to get up this morning and be able to craft just for fun and without any pressure. I love doing my DT work, but sometimes it is nice just to make something without deadlines and without any restrictions.

I have a few Magnolia stamps again. Yay!! I have always loved Tilda and it was so fun creating with her again.

I used paper from MME, a button from Favorite Findings, gems from Inky Impressions, and mini clothespin from Simon Says Stamp. The lace, twine, and brad are from my stash.

I used Kitchen Tilda. I just love her! I used Memento ink in Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. I used a silver gel pen for the button on her shoes.

I embossed the pink and white striped paper with aan Darice embossing folder from Crafter's Companion. It is hard to see, but it is there. I also added a pink stample. Yes PINK. I actually found them at the college bookstore. As soon as I seen them I knew they had to be mine. :o) I also used a boarder punch from Martha Stewart.

I used a jewelry finding under the silk rose and added a charm from Inky Impressions. I distressed with a Tim Holtz distress tool, and inked the edges with distress ink.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today. Thank you so much for visiting me. It always makes my day.

I am playing in the following challenges. I hope you will join in the fun!
Magnolia-licious: buttons

Time to Go!

Happy Saturday! I hope you are enjoying a beautiful morning. We are spending the day at my parents. I just love family time! :o)

I had such a great time making this card. The image was so much fun to color. As much as I love all Saturated Canary's images I believe this one is my favorite. Her gorgeous hair and beautiful face. I adore her.

I cut the flap off of a kraft envelope to make my holder. I boarder punched a strip of kraft cardstock using a Martha Stewart punch and adhered it to the inside of the pocket. Tied a ribbon all the way around the pocket and adhered a jewelry finding and glitter brad.

The paper is from Recollections. The gems are from Inky Impressions

I created a tag using kraft cardstock. I boarder punched the edge with a Martha Stewart punch and adhered a piece of DP from Recollections. Didtressed the edges with the Tim Holtz distresser and inked the edges with Walnut ink from Martha Stewart. I Stapled a piece of red ribbon to the tag. The sentiment is from Hero Arts which I got from Simon Says Stamp.

I used Copics to color.

I am playing in the following challenges. I hope you will play along too. I love seeing everyone's beautiful creations.

Saturated Canary: B's (brown, brad, blue, bag, bow)
DYSU: tags or flags
Paper Crafting Journey: sentiment
Southern Girls: bling
Craft Your Passion: bingo (bling, ribbon, distress)
Diva's By Design: lovely layers
Lollipop Crafts: 2 different punches or dies

My Blog Candy can be found here.

I hope you have a fabulous day!

Thank you so much for visiting me. It means so much to me. Until next time...........

YNS Fun Friday

Hey everyone! It is Fun Friday at Your Next Stamp! This month's theme is Trick or Treat. I love fall and Halloween so this is right up my alley. I have had a great time so far being a guest at YNS.

The main image is from the Creepy Crawly set. This stamp is so cool looking and the set is on sale for only $5.98......awesome! The pumpkin is from the Trick or Treat set and the sentiment is the Happy Halloween Sentiment stamp.

The paper is from MME. The button is from Favorite Findings. The ribbon and brads are from my stash.

I used Memento ink and Copics to color. This was my first time coloring black hair. I need some practice.  Maybe I should have ran my highlight the "other" way?

My storage/organizing tip for this week is all about bling. Like I said last week I am back to crafting at the kitchen table so space is a huge issue for me. I find it convenient and a space saver to use a jewelry organizer to keep my pearls and rhinestones in. I can seperate them by color and I can transport them easily. You can get them at Joann's Craft Store very inexpensively.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Dutch Dare: all things boys
Paper Crafting Journey: must use sentiment
PaperPlay: choose a holiday
DICC: pick at least 3 (black, creepy crawlers, texture, web)

Thank you so much for stopping by and if you have not already done so, you can enter my blog candy here.

On a brighter note it is time for a new challenge at YNS. This week it is "anything goes". Who doesn't love an anything goes challenge. I used Tabogganing Ellie for my card. Man it looks like she is having loads of fun.
I used paper and a brad from Natalie and Amy's, Inky Dinky Drops from Inky Impressions, a boarder and snowflake punch from Martha Stewart and ribbon from my stash.

I used Memento ink in Tuxedo Black to stamp my YNS image, Copics to color, a glitter pen for the hat and boot trim and glitter glue for the tips of the snowflakes.

I hope you will join in the fun over at YNS. Be sure to stop back by tomorrow for Fun Friday with YNS. It is all about Trick or Treat! :o)

YNS Fun Friday

Good morning peeps! I hope ya'll are well. It is time for another YNS Fun Friday and the theme this month is Trick or Treat. I am so happy to have the opportunity to play along as a guest designer. Believe it or not I used the oh so cute Rosa from Mexico and turned her into a sweet witch by coloring her outfit in  black and orange and putting a witches hat on her using a pop dot. Doesn't she make a cute witch? She is in the Bargain Bin for $2. Now that is an amazing deal. Run, don't walk to snatch her up.

We are also sharing some organizing/storage tips with you. Being back at the kitchen table crafting has been an adjustment. One thing that I have done for years is to keep my paper in a crate with hanging folders. I put all my reds in one folder, blues in another etc. I find this the easiest way for me to see what I have. It is also convenient if you have a small crafting space or like me and have none. You can pick the crate up and move it if you need to.

I hope I have inspired you to look at your stamps alittle differently and think outside the box. Don't forget there is a new challenge at the YNS blog. The challenge this week is "friendship". We want to see cards for or about friendship. Every week YNS gives away a $10 gc to the YNS store. I can't wait to see your fabulous entries.

Be sure to sign up for my blog candy which can be found HERE.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Until next time...........

MFT Guest Designer Contest

Who doesn't love curling up in bed with a good book! This little Pure Innocence gal from the Bedtime Story stamp set  sure seems to enjoy it. I fell in love with her as soon as I seen her. I could just see her all paper pieced in my mind. She was so much fun to play with!

It is time for another Guest Designer contest for My Favorite Things (MFT). It would be such an honor to be their guest. MFT truly has one of the best design teams around and fabulous products to boot. You can find all of the information on becoming a MFT guest designer here.

My layout is based on the MFT Guest Designer contest sketch. Isn't it fab! I will definitely be using it again.
I wanted to create the  little Pure Innocence cutie her own little bedroom, wall hanging and all. :o) I used pop dots to raise the wall hanging off of the wall and used a tiny silver brad as a nail. I colored the image with Copics, cut out my image and began to paper piece the blanket, pillow, lampshade, and book with MME paper collection, Reunion. I added backing paper to the top layer that reminded me of wallpaper and adhered lace that I boarder punched. I used pop dots to give my Pure Innocence image some dimension. I added two small brads to the top corners of my card to give it some additional interest. Then added a button to the lower corner. I used heavyweight Kraft cardstock to layer all of my decorative paper.

I cut the tab using the large bookmark die from the Die-namics Bookmark Duo die and stamp set. I adore this set. When it was released last month I drooled and drooled until I made it mine. lol  It is so versatile in how you can use it and  it can be used for so many things. Once I had the die cut,  I cut it off to make a tab. I stamped the sentiment from the Pure Innocence Bedtime Story set and adhered it to a gift card. The gift card slides in to the side of the top layer of my card.

I hope you like it. Wish me luck in the contest, ok! :o) I am super excited at the thought of being a MFT gal for a month. Even if it is only a Sweet Dream.

Check out the MFT September Teasers. They are fantatic and the design team has been offering so much inspiration. Be sure to attend the New Release Party on September 10 from 8-10 PM EST HERE in the MFT forum, where you can win prizes! All of the new releases will be available immediately after the party HERE.

I am also playing in the following challenges:
Allsorts: layers
Through the Craftroom Door: anything goes
Tuesday Throwdown: back to books
Unique Crafters Challenge: anything goes (and big giveaway)

Well that is all for now. I am wishing you a beautiful night!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Until next time...........
